What will you do at Google?

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

* 8 years of experience programming in C++, Java, Python, Kotlin or Go.

* 5 years of experience in people management, including managing software

engineers.

* 3 years of experience managing other managers.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, or a related technical field.

* 5 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.

* Demonstrated experience using agile methodologies and tooling.

* Familiarity with Identity, Authentication or Security.

With technical and leadership expertise, you manage engineers across multiple

teams and locations, a large product budget and oversee the deployment of

large-scale projects across multiple sites internationally.

The Control Plane team is seeking an experienced leader to build and grow our

highly performant engineering teams while managing Identity and Access

Management policies across all of Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

  • RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • * Inspire, manage, and grow a talented team of software engineers, fostering an
  • open environment while actively guiding their career development.
  • * Provide end-to-end technical leadership for complex projects, overseeing
  • requirements, design, implementation, testing, launch, and support.
  • * Collaborate closely with key stakeholders (PMs, TPMs, and Engineering Leads)
  • to define and execute a compelling long-term goal and product strategy.
  • * Drive the planning and delivery of large-scale, infrastructure systems within
  • a changing environment.
  • * Build and operate hyper-reliable infrastructure to deliver fast, intuitive,
  • and always-correct access control for GCP customers.
