MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

* 8 years of experience in product management, consulting, co-founder or a

related technical role.

* 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch

(e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc.).

* 2 years of experience building and shipping consumer electronics or related

products.

* 2 years of experience directly working on hardware products in a product

capacity.

* Experience driving hardware product lifecycles or new technology

introductions (NTI).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* MBA or similar degree or equivalent practical experience.

* 2 years of experience in the Glasses/XR industry, including launches and

research.

* Experience delivering zero-to-one products and technologies, specifically

regarding new technology introductions (NTIs).

* Experience working with external partners to jointly ship products and manage

complex hardware dependencies.

* Experience defining holistic hardware strategies for entirely new product

areas and working with or as a hardware engineer.

* Experience working with camera components in hardware products.

In this role, you will

work cross-functionally to guide products from conception
to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down
complex problems into steps that drive product development.
One of the many reasons Google consistently brings innovative, world-changing
products to market is because of the collaborative work we do in Product
Management. Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers,
marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to
the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the
execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging,
promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

In this role, you will

be responsible for helping define and execute on our
roadmap for XR devices, including Intelligent Eyewear, XR Glasses, and other
devices on our roadmap. This role includes component selection, hardware
requirements definition, NTI initialization and guidance, and other
hardware-related topics. You will have significant executive-level internal and
partner-facing facets, and will play a pivotal role in Google's overall strategy
in this category. Your role is primarily hardware-driven, though some
familiarity with software development will be beneficial.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Lead product definition for Glasses and XR device initiatives across multiple
time horizons, balancing immediate shipping needs with long-term research and
innovation.
* Guide critical hardware components through the new technology introduction
(NTI) process to guarantee technical readiness and seamless integration of
novel parts, including definition around key components such as camera,
audio, displays, and more.
* Apply deep expertise across end-to-end hardware product lifecycles to shape
overarching device strategy, manufacturing processes, and final delivery.
* Partner closely with Product Managers, Hardware Engineering, and UX teams to
align specifications with intended user experiences and software objectives.
Collaborate with Platform teams to scale device programs industry-wide while
evaluating engaged hardware to guide strategic roadmap development.
* Drive high-impact relationships and strategic alignment with key
manufacturing partners, original equipment manufacturer (OEMs), and component
suppliers to define industry hardware standards.
