MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

* 5 years of experience with security engineering, computer and network

security and security protocols.

* 5 years of experience in distributed cloud computing including 3 years of

experience in containerization and container orchestration technologies such

as Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.

* 5 years of experience with standard IT security practices such as identity

and access management, data protection, encryption, certificate and key

management.

* 5 years of experience with containerization and container orchestration

technologies such as Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).

* 5 years of experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) techniques such as

prompt engineering, dual encoders, and embedding vectors.

* 5 years of experience building prototypes or applications.

* Experience with cloud platforms, distributed systems and Google Kubernetes

engine, with the ability to manage stakeholders with clear written and verbal

communication.

  • Engine (GKE) security to lead the team to make GKE the most secure platform to
  • run AI/ML workload. You will be driving to deliver the managed Kubernetes
  • platform for running GenAI workloads, offering industry leading security,
  • hardening, driving market share growth, and customer success.

  • Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills,
  • experience, and relevant education or training.
  • US: $174000 - $252000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

  • RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • * Perform Kubernetes security reviews, research and reproduce vulnerabilities.
  • * Lead the team in developing secure operational practices, providing engineers
  • with security guidance to mitigate the product's top threats.
  • * Partner with Security teams across Google to build out a long-term threat
  • detection strategy for the product.
  • * Review designs and look for security gaps, both with one-time reviews and
  • longer term engagement.
