What will you do at Google?

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

* 3 years of experience in product management or related technical role.

* 1 year of experience taking technical products from conception to launch

(e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc.).

* 1 year of experience working in Fintech or on payments products.

* Experience integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into workflows.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* Master's degree in a technology or business related field.

* 2 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., strategic

marketing, business operations, consulting).

* 2 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical

presentations to senior leadership.

* 2 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI,

sales finance, and other stakeholders.

* 1 year of experience in software development or engineering.

* Knowledge of, or continued interest in building accessibility best practices,

and experience/curiosity for incorporating accessibility into product

development methodologies.

  • As a Core Billing Product Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in building the
  • foundation for Google's global commerce ecosystem. You'll have the unique
  • opportunity to collaborate with teams across the company, shaping how businesses
  • and consumers interact with our products and services on a massive scale. Your
  • work will directly impact the seamlessness, security, and compliance of Google's
  • financial transactions worldwide.

  • the Google Pay app, the Payments team at Google is focused on making payments
  • simple, seamless, and secure. In addition to consumer payment technologies, the
  • Payments team also powers the money movement between Google and its consumers
  • and businesses.
  • Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills,
  • experience, and relevant education or training.
  • US: $138000 - $197000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

  • RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • * Support PRDs by collaborating with partner teams (e.g., engineers, PgMs, UX)
  • during product design and development to implement the requirements.
  • * Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Google's core billing
  • infrastructure, ensuring it scales to support our growing global business and
  • product offerings.
  • * Articulate defined product vision in a way that captures attention and
  • compels others to drive action despite obstacles and competing priorities.
  • * Validate the market size and opportunity (e.g., user-based, strategic
  • opportunity, revenue). Identify opportunities in the market landscape.
  • * Facilitate launches, maintenance, and retirement in collaboration with other
  • cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
