MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

* 10 years of experience in product management or related technical role.

* 5 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch

(e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc.).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* Proven track record in highly technical, 0-1 product environments, with

experience taking complex AI systems from research to production.

* Ability to define cohesive 0-to-1 strategies in undefined and competitive

spaces.

* Strong track record of cross-product area partnership and influence, with the

ability to align executive leadership.

* Background in AI/ML, agentic frameworks, or complex system evaluation.

In this role, you will

  • work cross-functionally to guide products from conception
  • to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down
  • complex problems into steps that drive product development.

  • Management. Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers,
  • marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to
  • the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the
  • execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging,
  • promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.
  • As a part of the Product Manager role within AI Innovation and Research, you
  • will explore new technologies and human computing interfaces to enable agentic
  • automation across P&D. You will be responsible for taking on a leadership role,
  • delivering an agentic automation roadmap, experiences, evaluations, and
  • architecture in partnership with the engineering team, Platforms and Devices
  • product teams, and DeepMind. Your role uniquely blends creativity with deep AI
  • expertise.
  • The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's various computing software
  • platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our
  • first party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software,
  • and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new
  • technologies to make our user's interaction with computing faster and more
  • seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world.
  • Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills,
  • experience, and relevant education or training.
  • US: $240000 - $334000 (USD) + 25% bonus target + equity + benefits

  • RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • * Define a bold and ambitious agentic product and technology roadmap in
  • collaboration with cross-functional partners.
  • * Work in highly technical, entrepreneurial, and ambiguous 0-1 environments by
  • prototyping, exploring, defining, and productionizing agentic automation.
  • * Partner with a creative applied-research team to explore the future of
  • agentic computing, while leading the development of comprehensive simulator
  • environments and evaluation frameworks to evaluate agentic performance.
  • * Collaborate across the company to build joint product and technology
  • roadmaps, ensuring agentic experiences, address real consumer needs, and
  • advocate for user-centric design throughout the development process.
  • * Bridge research and product, and translate breakthroughs into new products or
  • features.
