Summary of Role: GlobalFoundries is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Network Engineer to join our Infrastructure Solutions Delivery organization. The ISD organization's primary focus is on building, developing, and delivering infrastructure that effectively addresses business requirements and opportunities, while ensuring a robust, sustainable, and standardized platform for Operations to manage.

Responsibilities
- Provide Networking Low-Level Design (LLD) input to tactical partners, including updating network drawings in Microsoft Visio for both To Be and As Built network designs for new infrastructure implementations (Compute/VCF/Storage) Provide new network configuration requirements for the setup of the VMWare Cloud Foundation, including VLAN, IP, DNS, etc.
- Provide support for all network details required for enterprise storage and compute, including VLANs, DNS, NTP, IP, Netmask, and Gateway.
- Manage ServiceNow Change Requests related to network changes required for enterprise datacenter, ensuring compliance with Failure Mode & Effect Analysis (FMEA) standards.
- This role will be responsible for the implementation of change, with support of the Network Infrastructure Delivery organization.
- Assist in troubleshooting of network related incidents caused by change.
- (Cisco/Nexus/ACI) Support the implementation of new fiber runs within the datacenter, and between datacenters. - Validating need, locations, types, lengths, and assisting GF with the placement of the order.

Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with DevOps tools and methodologies, such as CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, Ansible, etc.
- Strong knowledge of Cisco networking (Catalyst/Nexus) for datacenter.
- Ability to travel to other sites in North America for implementations (Burlington, VT) Expected Salary Range $104,000.00 - $175,000.00 The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
