to support USPACOM J6 mission outcomes through Mission Partner Environment (MPE)
engineering planning and development, modernization, secure integration, and
operational collaboration across the Pacific. GDIT is seeking a Network Engineer
SME to support USPACOM J6 Mission Partner Environment (MPE) Engineering Planning
and Development activities at Camp Smith, HI, helping modernize enterprise IT
capabilities and strengthen mission partner interoperability across the Pacific.
How the Network Engineer SME Will Make an Impact Support architecture,
engineering planning, and design activities for Mission Partner Environment
(MPE) Engineering Planning and Development. Translate operational and mission
partner requirements into executable technical plans, designs, and integration
actions. Develop and review network designs, implementation plans, diagrams, and
technical documentation. Troubleshoot complex network issues and coordinate
resolution across engineering, cybersecurity, operations, and mission partner
teams. Collaborate with USPACOM J6 stakeholders, service components, mission
partners, and GDIT team members to resolve technical challenges. Prepare clear
technical documentation, briefings, status inputs, and recommendations for
customer and internal leadership. What You'll Need to Succeed Education:
Technical training, certification(s), or equivalent experience Required
Experience: 8+ years of relevant experience supporting the role, mission area,
or equivalent DoW/enterprise IT environment. Required Technical Skills:
enterprise network engineering; routing and switching; network modernization;
WAN/LAN design; secure enclave connectivity; technical documentation. Security
Clearance Level: Active Secret. Required Skills and Abilities: Strong
communication, analytical problem-solving, technical writing, customer
engagement, and ability to coordinate across engineering, cybersecurity,
operations, and mission partner teams. Preferred Skills: Experience supporting
USPACOM, combatant command, service component, or joint/coalition mission
environments. Experience working in government site environments and
coordinating with military and civilian stakeholders. Experience with mission
partner, coalition, tactical, or multi-enclave networking. Location: On customer

$149,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather,
salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly
contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range. Scheduled Weekly
