What Will You Be Doing?
The Cloud Engineer Intern will support the design, deployment, and management of
cloud-based infrastructure and services. This role provides hands-on experience
with cloud platforms (such as Microsoft Azure, or AWS), automation, and modern
DevOps practices. This internship is for Fall 2026 -9/9/2026 - 12/11/2026 based
in Denver, CO.
Essential Functions
* Assist in deploying and maintaining cloud infrastructure using platforms like
Azure, or AWS
* Support monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization of cloud resources
* Help automate infrastructure using tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or
CloudFormation
* Work with CI/CD pipelines to support application deployment
* Collaborate with development teams to ensure scalable and secure cloud
solutions
* Participate in system documentation, diagram creation, and knowledge sharing
* Assist with cloud security best practices (IAM, access control, compliance
checks)
* Monitor system performance and assist in implementing improvements
Qualifications
- * Must be available to work full-time for 4 months
- * Preference given to candidates that have completed at least two (2) years of
- undergraduate-level coursework or to those enrolled in a graduate program
- * Experience building agentic AI systems that autonomously generate and refine
- code.
- * Contributions to open-source AI projects or research in LLM-driven
- development.
- * Proficiency in integrating AI-powered tools like ChatGPT into web
- applications, ensuring seamless user interaction and secure API
- communication.
- * Experience developing thick client applications with AI-assisted features,
- including offline capabilities and optimized performance for complex
- workflows.
- * Hands-on expertise in prompt engineering and fine-tuning AI models to deliver
- context-aware responses tailored to business requirements.
- * Major in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or Computer Science preferred
