Formulary is on a mission to transform fund administration from error-prone paperwork into data-driven intelligence and expert service for investors.

By implementing a high-touch service delivery model, data systemization, and AI-powered solutions in fund operations, Formulary is taking on the defining challenges of the asset management industry. Private markets span thousands of GPs and trillions in assets under management; the industry stands at the brink of a seismic transformation driven by the convergence of evolving investor expectations and rise of emerging technologies. Compensation

Salary: $200,000 to $250,000 Equity: Competitive

Healthcare, vision, dental, 401k What Impact You Will Own and Drive Full-Stack Platform Development: Build a platform connecting fund administration teams, GPs, and LPs, focusing on user-centric, reliable, and scalable end-user experiences. Technical Architecture: Implement a scalable and secure technical infrastructure. Cloud Infrastructure: Design and optimize cloud solutions using CSPs (such as AWS and Azure) and leverage containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.

End-to-End Data Platform Development: Build the data foundation and back-end frameworks to deliver a robust data management system. Agentic AI Capabilities: Design and integrate agentic AI capabilities to streamline fund administration, GP, and LP workflows. AI/ML Application: Integrate AI/ML tools to drive exceptional service delivery and user productivity.

Product Roadmap: Collaborate with the team to align the product roadmap and milestones with technical decisions and delivery. What You Need Excellence in full-stack engineering and data architecture.

Expertise in modern SaaS distributed architectures on the public cloud. A proven track record in frontend development, API integration, and backend services. Deep experience with storage systems, databases, warehousing, and data pipelines.

Strong experience in DevOps, CI/CD, and automated testing. A keen interest in using AI and machine learning to solve complex problems. Familiarity with information security and defensive programming. 8+ years of hands-on engineering experience.

Extra / Bonus Experience as a founding engineer at a high-growth startup. A track record at a world-class fintech (e.g., Ramp, Addepar, Square, Revolut). Hands-on experience building an AI-native product or service with strong user adoption.

Demonstrated impact at a leading financial services or asset management firm.
