Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE)

Emergent builds autonomous coding agents that replace traditional software development by generating, testing, and deploying production applications directly from plain-language intent. The Role

We're looking for highly driven Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs) who enjoy solving complex problems, working closely with customers, and turning real-world challenges into scalable solutions. This role is based in Bangalore and operates on a night shift aligned with US and European business hours.

What You'll Do

• Work directly with customers across the US and Europe to understand their technical and business challenges Build, customise, and deploy solutions using Emergent's AI-powered platform Rapidly prototype and iterate on production-grade applications Debug complex issues across applications, integrations, APIs, and workflows Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to drive customer outcomes Identify recurring customer problems and turn them into scalable product and process improvements Own projects end-to-end, from understanding requirements to deployment and iteration Work in a fast-paced environment where speed, ownership, and problem-solving are highly valued

What We're Looking For
