Everforth ECS Federal is seeking a Mid-Level Network Engineer to support a
mission-focused federal IT program in Washington DC.
Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.
Join Everforth ECS Federal as a Network Engineer helping strengthen secure
network infrastructure for national security and law enforcement missions. This
role offers the opportunity to support critical technical work, collaborate with
experienced engineers, and contribute to an expanding mission environment
focused on reliability, security, and operational excellence.
The Network Engineer will support the design, implementation, configuration,
maintenance, and troubleshooting of enterprise network infrastructure in a
secure federal environment. This includes support for routers, switches,
firewalls, wireless infrastructure, load balancers, VPNs, network monitoring
tools, and related technologies that enable reliable and secure mission
operations.
This role supports day-to-day network operations, system availability,
performance monitoring, vulnerability remediation, configuration management,
lifecycle activities, and technical documentation. The Network Engineer will
assist with network deployments, patching, tuning, troubleshooting, incident
response, change management, and compliance activities to help ensure secure,
reliable, and compliant operations across the enterprise.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical professional with experience
supporting enterprise networks, resolving network issues, maintaining secure
configurations, and working collaboratively with systems, cybersecurity, service
desk, and customer teams in a fast-paced federal IT environment.
Qualifications
- * Minimum 5 years network engineering experience
- * Routing, switching, segmentation, and secure network operations experience
- * Ability to support enterprise network environments.
