When you join Crusoe, you join a team that is building the future, faster.

If you want to do the most meaningful work of your career, help our customers and partners advance their AI strategies, and be part of a high-performing team that believes in each other, come build with us at Crusoe.

About This Role

We’re seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to own the design, implementation, and lifecycle management of Crusoe’s enterprise cloud infrastructure across corporate and operational environments. This is a high-ownership, hands-on engineering role spanning Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Azure, and Azure Arc-enabled hybrid management.

The role sits at the intersection of IT, Security, and site-specific operations to keep systems reliable, secure, and ready to scale with Crusoe’s rapidly expanding footprint of offices, warehouses, and data centers.

What You’ll Be Working On

Administer and optimize Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive) and own Entra ID tenant health, including Conditional Access, MFA enforcement, and directory synchronization

Design and manage Azure infrastructure for corporate IT workloads (VMs, virtual networks, storage, and supporting PaaS services) with ongoing cost monitoring and rightsizing

Implement and administer Azure Arc to unify governance, policy enforcement, and monitoring across hybrid on-premises and cloud environments

Build and maintain infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM) for repeatable, version-controlled, and auditable deployments

Plan, rack, and commission physical server hardware at Crusoe data centers, CI facilities, and office sites during new builds and expansions

Administer Windows Server environments including Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, Group Policy, and certificate services, and manage Hyper-V or VMware virtualized workloads

Own monitoring, backup, disaster recovery, and incident response for all managed systems; participate in on-call rotation as the escalation owner for server, cloud, and identity incidents

Drive automation across infrastructure operations, maintain architecture and runbook documentation, and provide mentorship to junior members of the IT Infrastructure team

What You’ll Bring

  • to the Team
  • 8+ years of hands-on infrastructure experience, with 5+ years focused on Microsoft Azure and M365 administration in enterprise environments
  • Deep Microsoft 365 tenant administration, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and Entra ID (Azure AD)
  • Strong Azure infrastructure skills: VMs, VNets, NSGs, storage, ExpressRoute/VPN, and Identity and Access Management
  • Hands-on Azure Arc experience for hybrid server management and policy enforcement
  • Solid Windows Server administration: Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, Group Policy, certificate services, and file/print services
  • Infrastructure-as-code proficiency (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM) with version-controlled practices; PowerShell or Azure CLI scripting for automation
  • Ability to perform hands-on physical server work (racking, cabling, and firmware updates) in a data center environment
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and cross-functional communication skills; bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience

Bonus Points

  • Microsoft certifications: AZ-104 (Azure Administrator Associate) or MS-102 (Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator Expert)
  • VMware vSphere experience alongside or in addition to Hyper-V
  • Linux server administration in hybrid Windows/Linux environments
  • Experience supporting new site infrastructure builds, coordinating with facilities teams, cabling vendors, and ISPs
  • Familiarity with SIEM/SOAR tooling and server and cloud log pipeline integration (Microsoft Sentinel or equivalent)
