The Sales Development Representative (SDR) plays a critical role in driving awareness and the adoption of Cohesity’s solutions. This foundational role is suited for individuals passionate about beginning a career in sales. The role is focused on identifying new business opportunities and contributing to the development of a strong and sustainable sales pipeline.
HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE: Collaborate with team members to build and refine outbound prospecting lists. Identify key decision-makers within target accounts. Create and execute multi-channel outreach sequences (phone, email, LinkedIn, etc.).
Conduct discovery calls to assess prospective needs and introduce Cohesity solutions. Respond promptly to inbound leads via phone, email, LinkedIn, etc. Qualify leads using predefined criteria and book meetings for Account Executives to progress opportunities.
Work closely with account executives to hand off qualified opportunities. Develop deep knowledge of Cohesity’s platform to confidently communicate our value proposition. WE'D LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING: Enthusiasm for sales, with ideally 1+ year of relevant experience Fluency in English and Danish language is a preference; alternatively a combination of English and Finnish or Swedish or Norwegian will also be considered.
Comfortable using CRM and prospecting tools Experience with researching companies, cold calling, emailing, and navigating organizational hierarchies Confident in making cold calls and handling objections Excellent verbal and written communication skills Receptive to coaching and continuous feedback High level of grit and perseverance in a fast-paced environment Strong work ethic and goal-oriented mindset Collaborative, team-first attitude with a willingness to share knowledge and best practices Self-motivated with a focus on learning and career development Ability to multitask and manage time effectively College or bachelor’s degree #LI-MS2 Data Privacy Notice for Job Candidates: For information on personal data processing, please see our Privacy Policy.
