The AI/ML Architect will serve as the team's senior technical authority for the architecture, design, and integration of AI/ML capabilities supporting DAG mission threads. The Architect will establish a scalable, reusable AI architecture encompassing models, agents, retrieval systems, orchestration, data interfaces, evaluation, guardrails, observability, and human-in-the-loop workflows.
The Architect will determine where NGA enterprise capabilities should be leveraged and identify architectural gaps where additional capabilities are required. The role will establish reusable AI patterns and technical standards that enable the team to continuously deliver new mission-thread capabilities without creating unnecessary point solutions or proprietary dependencies.
