What will you do at Citus Data?

- Design and deliver AI-powered capabilities using large language models, with a focus on effective context management, reliability, and measurable customer value. - Build retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) solutions using technologies such as Cosmos DB and semantic search to provide relevant, grounded responses. - Apply agentic development practices and tools such as GitHub Copilot to improve engineering productivity, quality, and delivery. - Collaborate with engineering, product, and partner teams to translate customer needs and organizational priorities into scalable solutions. - Contribute to the long-term technical direction of the team by evaluating emerging AI approaches, sharing knowledge, and improving engineering practices. - Maintain high standards for security, privacy, responsible AI, operational excellence, and service reliability.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.

Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.

Additional skills to strengthen across the team include hands-on experience with large language models (LLMs), particularly context management and optimization; building retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) solutions using Cosmos DB and semantic search; and adopting agentic development practices with tools such as GitHub Copilot to accelerate implementation, testing, and delivery azdat azuredata This position will be open for a minimum of 5 days, with applications accepted on an ongoing basis until the position is filled.
