What will you do at CDW?
We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer with deep experience operating and managing enterprise-scale services in complex, mission-critical environments. Our priority is hiring engineers who understand how enterprise services integrate, perform, and operate together to deliver a reliable, high-quality user experience.
The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience supporting enterprise infrastructure services and has played a key role in transitioning on‑premises services to cloud environments, with a strong focus on performance, monitoring, resiliency, and SLA adherence.
What You Will Do
- Engineer, operate, and support enterprise-grade services in cloud and hybrid environments Lead and support migration of on‑premises services to cloud platforms, ensuring continuity, performance, and reliability Manage and optimize service performance, availability, and scalability across multiple enterprise systems Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and performance management solutions Ensure services meet defined SLAs, SLOs, and operational requirements Troubleshoot complex service integration and performance issues across infrastructure, identity, and user environments Partner with infrastructure, security, and operations teams to ensure secure, compliant, and resilient service delivery Document service architectures, operational runbooks, and support procedures Provide senior-level technical guidance and mentoring to engineering peers What We Expect of You Active Full Scope Polygraph (required; no exceptions) Senior-level experience as a Cloud Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, or Enterprise Services Engineer Strong background supporting multiple enterprise services simultaneously in production environments Demonstrated experience transitioning on‑premises infrastructure and services into cloud environments Deep understanding of: Service availability and resiliency Performance monitoring and tuning Incident response and root cause analysis SLA/SLO-driven operations Experience operating in secure, highly regulated environments Azure-based enterprise environments (experience with AWS or other cloud platforms also valued) Hybrid cloud and on‑prem integration Identity, access, and directory services Virtual desktop and end-user computing platforms Enterprise monitoring and observability tooling Experience in the following technologies significantly improves alignment with our needs, a plus Tanium LoginVSI Cayosoft 1E SL1 / Voss Kion Splunk Azure Performance Monitoring Citrix VD Active Directory Engineering / Entra ID Engineering Pay range: $150,000 - $200,000 depending on experience and skill set Annual bonus target of % subject to terms and conditions of plan Benefits overview: https://cdw.benefit-info.com/ Salary ranges may be subject to geographic differentials CDW is committed to being an AI-fluent organization We’re looking for people who bring curiosity, a learner’s mindset, and a willingness to engage with ever-evolving technology and tools.
