What will you do at Camgian?
Camgian is seeking a DevOps Delivery Engineer to support software release execution, Kubernetes-based deployments, and Helm-enabled container delivery across development, staging, and production environments. This role focuses on building reliable release pipelines, packaging applications for deployment, coordinating release readiness, and improving repeatable delivery practices across engineering teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 2–5 years of DevOps, release engineering, SRE, platform, or automation experience.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, and containerized application delivery.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, Bitbucket, or similar.
- Strong Linux fundamentals and scripting experience with Bash, Python, or similar.
- Experience with branching, merging, tagging, versioning, and release promotion workflows.
- Familiarity with artifact repositories, container registries, and dependency management.
- Understanding of deployment validation, rollback planning, and release governance.
- Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate across engineering teams.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Desired Skills:
- Experience with Ansible, Terraform, or Infrastructure as Code.
- Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenSearch, or Splunk.
- Exposure to vulnerability scanning tools such as Anchore, Xray, Tenable/Nessus, or similar.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes secrets, Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, or secure configuration practices.
- Experience supporting regulated environments, RMF, NIST 800-171, NIST 800-53, or ATO-related delivery.
- Experience with release checklists, deployment gates, quality gates, and production readiness reviews.
Responsibilities
- Own and support release delivery workflows for containerized applications deployed to Kubernetes.
- Package and deploy applications using Helm charts, Kubernetes manifests, and container delivery patterns.
- Support Docker image creation, tagging, promotion, scanning, and release traceability.
- Coordinate release readiness across engineering, DevOps, QA, security, and product stakeholders.
- Maintain deployment documentation, release notes, rollback plans, and operational runbooks.
- Troubleshoot deployment issues across development, staging, and production-like environments.
- Improve release repeatability through automation, templates, standards, and pipeline hardening.
- Support artifact management using Artifactory or equivalent repositories.
- Assist with configuration management, environment promotion, secrets handling, and deployment validation.
- Contribute to secure and compliant delivery practices in regulated environments.
