- implement and manage cloud solutions that support our business operations.
- You’ll leverage AWS to create scalable, secure, and efficient cloud environments.
- Your expertise will help ensure that our cloud infrastructure meets our strategic goals and adheres to industry best practices in a complex and classified environment.

Responsibilities
- Cloud Strategy Development: Develop and maintain the cloud strategy in alignment with business objectives.
- Evaluate and recommend cloud services, platforms, and technologies.
- Implementation and Migration: Implementation of cloud solutions using AWS.
- Plan and execute migration of applications and data to the cloud, ensuring seamless integration with ECS container platforms.
- Ensure minimal disruption during migration processes.
- Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations within AWS environments.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits of cloud environments.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize cloud resource utilization and performance across AWS.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Collaboration and Mentorship: Work closely with development, operations, and business teams to understand requirements and provide technical guidance on AWS.
- Mentor and support team members in adopting cloud technologies and best practices.
- Cost Management: Develop and manage cloud budgeting and cost optimization strategies for AWS.
- Monitor cloud spending and implement cost-saving measures.
- Stay Current: Keep up to date with the latest cloud technologies, trends, and best practices, particularly related to AWS.
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Active DOD Secret security clearance Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud architecture or a related role.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS Extensive experience with AWS services (ECS, S3, Lambda, RDS, EKS, etc.)
- Significant EKS or other Kubernetes experience Experience with containerization technologies Knowledge of DevOps practices, IAC, and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Terraform).
- Active CompTIA security+ certificate Additional AWS certificate Desired: Knowledge of microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with serverless computing.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, complex, and dynamic environment.

- Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
