Cybersecurity Platform Engineer The Opportunity: Everyone is trying to “harness

and takes advantage of cloud capabilities. We need you to develop container

management software to solve some of our clients’ toughest challenges. As a

senior platform DevOps engineer at Booz Allen, you can use your technical skills

to affect mission-forward change. On our team, you’ll hone your skills using the

latest cloud technologies as you look for ways to improve your client’s

environment with current container software to ensure seamless orchestration.

Using your DevOps platform experience, you’ll support your team as you inform

strategy and design while ensuring standards are met throughout the

containerization process. You’ll recommend resources that will help your client

manage and securely adopt containers. Additionally, you’ll continue to

strengthen your DevOps skills while supporting the development of critical cloud

The

world can’t wait. You Have: 4+ years of experience in the development of tools

and processes to drive DevOps or DevSecOps maturity by automating builds,

regression testing, monitoring, and pushing releases across environments 4+

years of experience troubleshooting, triaging, and resolving issues related to

CI/CD pipeline failures or slowness 2+ years of experience operating Kubernetes

in production such as ECK and AWS, including GovCloud 2+ years of experience

with cybersecurity fundamentals in infrastructure, platform, or security

operations contexts including SIEM, vulnerability management, or incident

response Experience with DoD cloud and cybersecurity environments Experience

developing enterprise cloud-native solutions Experience developing, managing,

and securing containers Experience working with application development teams

across the software development lifecycle and creating solutions to complex

problems within a collaborative team environment Secret clearance Bachelor's

degree, or 8+ years of experience in DevOps in lieu of a degree Nice If You

Have: Experience developing enterprise cloud-native solutions involving

Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Jenkins, or Azure Experience creating and improving

continuous automation across multiple technical stacks Experience creating and

improving continuous deployment tools built on Kubernetes Experience triaging

and resolving issues related to both open source and commercial tools in public

cloud environments Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Linux

Shell Script Master’s degree Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a

to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited

to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge,

skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability

and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this

position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed

represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component

of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will
