What will you do at SAIC?
We are seeking a Network Engineer for our global unified communications system
located in Stafford, VA, which supports over 180,000 users. In this role, you’ll
assist with the design, validation, and documentation of the enterprise
communications architecture, with primary focus on Cisco voice solutions.
Additionally, you’ll provide consultation to deployment and operations teams and
provide input to the technology roadmap, as well as report and provide
recommendations to leadership, therefore strong communication skills are
required.
Role will be onsite 4/days per week and 1 virtual day per week.
Job Duties:
* System Architecture: Support the design of a robust and scalable unified
communications architecture. Create clear, standardized documentation and
implementation guides
* Pre-Production Validation: Assist with the building and validation of the
solution design in a pre-production environment to ensure functionality,
performance, and reliability before enterprise rollout
* Subject Matter Expertise: Provide expert guidance to implementation and
operations teams for deployment and complex issue resolution
* Technology Strategy: Provide input to the unified communications technology
roadmap by evaluating, testing, and integrating new products and features
