About the role
What will you do at SAIC?
SAIC has 2 immediate openings on a newly awarded contract for Artificial
Intelligence (AI) experts to perform in a Systems Engineering and Technical
Assistant (SETA) role and support operational, engineering, and research related
activities. Successful candidates will be Subject Matter Experts in AI,
especially frontier models and will understand the economic impacts of AI.
Candidates will also have experience with AI research, emerging model types,
and other related dependencies in order to understand counter-AI. The SETA must
be adaptable, resilient under pressure, and capable of operating both
independently and in team settings.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Must currently hold a TS/SCI clearance and active polygraph in order to be
considered
* Bachelor's Degree or experience can be substituted for the degree
* At least 5 years of post-graduate technical expertise in artificial
intelligence or a closely related field
* Minimum of 9 years of relevant systems engineering experience
* Must currently hold a TS/SCI clearance and active polygraph in order to be
considered
* At least 5 years of demonstrated experience within the Intelligence Community
and working across multiple IC components and DoW
* In-depth technical knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
o Applications of frontier models
o Economics of frontier-model applications
o Foreign frontier AI models, particularly open-source models
o Experience working in or with AI research laboratories
o Emerging AI model types and domains
o Adversarial or counter-artificial intelligence
o Other frontier AI research areas
