DevSecOps Engineer – AI-Enabled Cloud Automation
BizTech Fusion is hiring for one of its clients for a DevSecOps Engineer – AI-Enabled Cloud Automation position.
Location: Reston, Virginia / Washington, D.C.
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 2 days per week onsite
Job Type: Contract
Experience: 3+ years of DevOps/DevSecOps engineering experience
Mandatory Requirements
U.S. Citizen – Dual Citizenship is acceptable.
Eligible to obtain and maintain an SEC Public Trust Clearance.
Experience supporting Federal Government programs or comparable enterprise environments.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within Agile teams.
Key Technical Requirements
3+ years of DevOps/DevSecOps engineering experience.
Strong hands-on experience with AWS.
Experience with AWS CDK and/or CloudFormation.
Experience with AWS CodePipeline and CodeBuild.
Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation.
Experience with SAST, DAST, and SCA security tools.
Experience implementing policy-as-code and security automation.
Experience with FedRAMP/NIST compliance and evidence automation.
Experience implementing blue/green and/or canary deployments.
Strong scripting experience with Python, Bash, or similar languages.
Experience with AI-assisted DevSecOps practices and tools.
Role Overview
The DevSecOps Engineer will support cloud automation, secure software delivery, and DevSecOps initiatives within a highly regulated enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have strong AWS and IaC experience, understand modern security practices, and be able to integrate security and compliance controls into automated CI/CD workflows.
