Learn more at https://www.avaya.com Description We are seeking a results-driven DevOps / DevSecOps Engineer to design, automate, and secure cloud infrastructure across Azure and GCP environments. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and security automation with strong collaboration and agile delivery skills.

You’ll work cross-functionally with engineering, security, and operations teams to drive reliability, scalability, and compliance across our multi-cloud and hybrid platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design, develop, and maintain reusable Terraform and Ansible modules for Azure and GCP infrastructure.
• Enforce configuration standards and policy-as-code practices.
• Cloud Engineering (Azure and GCP): Architect and manage scalable, secure Azure and GCP environments (AKS, App Gateway, VNets, NSGs, Key Vault, Managed Identities).
• Implement governance, cost optimization, and compliance controls across subscriptions.
• CI/CD & Automation: Build and optimize Jenkins and GitHub Actions pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment across environments.
• Implement blue/green, canary, and rollback deployment strategies with observability and alerting.
• DevSecOps & Security: Integrate vulnerability scanning, code analysis, and compliance checks into CI/CD workflows.
• Manage secrets, certificates, and key management using secure vault solutions.
• Collaborate with security teams to align infrastructure with FedRAMP/FIPS/ISO/PCI standards.
• Monitoring & Reliability: Implement proactive monitoring using Azure Monitor, Google Monitoring, Prometheus, Grafana, and Log Analytics.
• Define SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets aligned with business objectives.
• Collaboration & Agile Practices: Partner with product and engineering teams in agile ceremonies to plan, deliver, and continuously improve.
• Participate in release management, sprint planning, retrospectives, and post-incident reviews.

Requirements

• Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Platform Engineering.
• Proven expertise in Azure and GCP cloud architecture and automation.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, Helm, and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD).
• Familiarity with security frameworks (FedRAMP, FIPS, CIS Benchmarks).
• Experience with container security, image scanning, and supply chain security.
• Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python, or PowerShell).
• Excellent troubleshooting skills across infrastructure, network, and application layers.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with a focus on accountability and delivery.

• The pay range for this opportunity is from $122,200 to $160,00 + performance-related bonus + benefits.
• This range represents the anticipated low and high ends of the salary for this position.
• This role is also eligible to receive an annual bonus that aligns with individual and company performance.
