DESCRIPTION
Apple’s Platform Architecture group is seeking a systems software engineer who
will develop and support new technologies to support best-in-class system
prototypes to support cloud, data center, and silicon development. You will work
with and support our world leading silicon engineering teams on next generation
chips, which end up in the hands of millions of users worldwide.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related engineering
field. Experience with programming (Go, Swift or C++) and scripting (e.g.
Python, Bash). Experience debugging complex systems.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
10+ years of relevant industry experience. Understanding and practical
experience with HTTP, DNS, RPC frameworks, databases, and operating systems.
Good understanding of Cloud security concepts, plus knowledge of
Authentication/Authorization frameworks and tools. Knowledge of containers
(Docker, Podman, Apple Container). Excellent communication, analytical and
documentation skills. Experience using AI Agents or LLMs in software
development. Exposure to Silicon workflows.
