content studios. Within this team is Employee Engagement & Engineering, a small,

global team that quickly delivers with long-term vision, building durable,

reliable systems meant to last. Our focus is on crafting high-quality,

user-centred experiences — delivering AI and system interoperability to make

every interaction intuitive, seamless, and genuinely useful for the people who

rely on our tools.

DESCRIPTION

You collaborate with a small team on the technical strategy for how native

applications are imagined, built, integrated, and evolved across our platforms.

You shape multi-year direction for the team's platform architecture, establish

engineering practices that raise the quality bar, and lead the resolution of the

most complex challenges — those that span multiple systems and carry broad

impact on the employee experience. You collaborate directly with leadership, and

represent the team in cross-functional technical forums. You are expected to

grow the next generation of engineers through mentorship, well crafted code, and

technical leadership by example. Your influence defines how the platform evolves

and how applications are experienced by thousands of Apple employees worldwide.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Exceptional depth in Swift, SwiftUI, and Apple-platform architecture across

macOS, iOS, and iPadOS Demonstrated ability to define and drive technical

strategy across multiple application domains Proven track record of mentoring

engineers and raising the technical quality of a team B.S. or M.S. in Computer

Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with AI integration patterns and platform interoperability at an

architectural level Deep understanding of user experience quality — you set the

bar for how applications should feel Experience defining platform architecture

for native applications serving large internal or external user bases History of

driving technical innovation with broad adoption across a team or organisation

Experience shaping engineering culture around quality, inclusion, and technical

growth Deep familiarity with Apple's AI frameworks (Core ML, Foundation Models,

MLX) and system integration capabilities (App Intents, extensions) Record of

successful cross-functional influence at a senior level Experience with globally

distributed teams and asynchronous collaboration at scale
