Global Commercial Services (GCS) serves millions of business customers around

RESPONSIBILITIES

We’re looking for a Staff Engineer, Commercial Data Platform in GCS-Technology.

* Cultivate an environment of continuous improvement through technical

guidance, coaching, mentoring, and feedback

* Lead the technical strategy to scale data risk management and data governance

best practices across the commercial ecosystem

* Be a key leader on the effort to continuously improve the trust and

reliability of our critical operational data-driven workloads

* Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and cross

functional partners to deliver collaboratively

* Perform hands-on architecture, design, development, and testing

* Implement process improvements to streamline areas for your team such as

hiring, onboarding, software delivery, and internal/external communication

* Drive and execute on high-level & detailed technical decisions

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications

  • * Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • * Expertise with a major cloud vendor (AWS/GCP)
  • * Expertise with spark, python, SQL
  • * Experience partnering cross functionally and being a hands-on leader to drive
  • successful execution
  • * Strong understanding of data governance best practices and technical patterns
  • to implement them at scale

Preferred Qualifications

  • * Experience building unified data driven solutions with a data-lakehouse
  • architecture
