Strong SQL — comfortable with CTEs, window functions, and dimensional modeling patterns (facts, dimensions, surrogate keys, slowly changing dimensions). Experience building data ingestion/extraction pipelines from APIs or databases (custom code, managed connectors, or CDC tooling).

Experience with a cloud data warehouse or lakehouse platform like Databricks, Microsoft Fabric.Experience with a workflow orchestration tool.Comfortable working in a Git-based CI/CD workflow.Understanding of layered/medallion data architecture and why cleaning logic belongs in one shared layer, not duplicated per downstream consumer.Nice-to-haveExperience with a BI/visualization tool from the data-provider side.Exposure to CRM or ERP systems as data sources.Python, for orchestration/ingestion code beyond SQL.Experience migrating legacy ETL (stored procedures, scripts, or manual processes) into a modern transformation framework.
