Position

Responsibilities

  • Work with peers and other teams on high-severity, active support issues,
  • prioritizing mitigation while investigating root-cause fixes. Provide on-call
  • support and act as point of escalation for high-severity issues. Aid in the
  • development and testing of operational tools and AI that improve efficiency
  • through automation. Create and maintain team-specific knowledge-base articles
  • and operational and training documentation. Conduct customer notification and
  • workflow coordination with follow-up to maintain service level agreements.
  • Deliver live streaming content to a high standard globally. Deliver reports to
  • senior leadership. Assist in the training of new support staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering,
  • or a related field and two years of experience in the job offered or a related
  • occupation. Employer will accept four years of experience in the job offered or
  • a related occupation as equivalent to a bachelor’s degree and two years of
  • experience. Must have two years of experience in the following skill(s): (1)
  • scripting in modern programming languages; (2) troubleshooting and debugging
  • technical systems and documenting findings; (3) agile/scrum or a related
  • collaborative workflow; and (4) supporting a live streaming environment,
  • including knowledge of video encoding and delivery, acquisition, codecs,
  • adaptive bit rate video playback, common streaming protocols, and software
  • support.
