About the role

What will you do at Amazon?

Amazon Leo is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite network. Our mission is to

deliver fast, reliable broadband connectivity to customers beyond the reach of

existing networks. From households to small businesses, schools, hospitals, and

government agencies, Amazon Leo will serve communities and organizations

operating in places without dependable internet access.

We are seeking a Sr. Product Manager – Technical (PMT) to own the end-to-end

product portfolio for Accessories and Indoor Units (IDUs). This role encompasses

all indoor and outdoor accessories including routers, power injectors, power

accessories, mounting hardware, cables, and future accessory innovations. The

portfolio serves customers across Amazon Leo – including consumers, small

businesses, and large enterprises.

In this role, you will

  • define the product vision and multi-year roadmap for the
  • Accessories & IDU portfolio, drive new product development (0→1) while
  • optimizing existing products for cost, quality, and customer experience. You

  • products at scale. This is a high-visibility, individual contributor role that
  • directly impacts the out-of-box experience for every Amazon Leo customer.
  • Key job responsibilities
  • - Development, launch, and post-launch optimization across all customer
  • segments.
  • - Define and maintain the multi-year product roadmap; prioritize investments

  • to deliver products on schedule, within cost targets, and at quality bar.
  • - Collaborate with supply chain, sourcing, and operations teams to optimize BOM
  • cost, manufacturability, and availability across ODM/JDM manufacturing partners.
  • - Work with regulatory and certification teams to ensure products meet global
  • compliance requirements (FCC, CE, UL, etc.) across all target geographies.
  • - Define and analyze product metrics (quality, cost, adoption, customer
  • satisfaction); use data to inform roadmap decisions and drive continuous
  • improvement.
  • - Represent the Accessories & IDU portfolio in leadership reviews, communicating
  • strategy, trade-offs, and progress with clarity.
  • - Identify opportunities to create system and shared components across customer
  • segments to improve efficiency, reduce time-to-market, and drive economies of
  • scale.

  • A day in the life
  • In a typical week, you might start your morning reviewing factory build reports
  • and quality data from a manufacturing partner in Asia, then pivot to a design
  • review with mechanical and electrical engineers on a next-generation accessory.
  • By mid-day, you’re leading a roadmap prioritization discussion with your
  • engineering and supply chain counterparts, making trade-off decisions between
  • cost, schedule, and feature scope for an upcoming router revision. In the
  • afternoon, you might draft a PRFAQ for a new indoor device, respond to field
  • feedback from an enterprise installation team, or work with regulatory to clear
  • a certification blocker in a new market. You’ll close out the day preparing a
