secure that environment for our customers while working on security products for

a variety of platforms and technologies, all operating at AWS’ scale.

We are seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer to join our Hardware

Supply Chain Security team. You will build and own security-focused software

solutions that protect AWS's hardware, supply chain and global infrastructure

while working in an environment where technology strategy is defined but

solution design requires your expertise. This role combines software development

leadership with security engineering, requiring both strong coding skills and

security domain knowledge.

Key job responsibilities

* Create and maintain tools for firmware analysis, security testing, and

vulnerability assessment

* Design and develop security applications to protect AWS hardware and firmware

* Architect scalable, automated, tools for security assessment and compliance

* Collaborate with and mentor team members while making autonomous technical

decisions

Qualifications

  • - 3+ years of
  • non-internship professional software development experience
  • - 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns,
  • reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
  • - 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered,
  • multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems,
  • and services using: C#, C++, Java, or Perl experience
  • - Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering,
  • Mathematics, or a related field
  • - Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or
  • C# including object-oriented design

Preferred Qualifications

  • - 3+ years of full
  • software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews,
  • source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

  • The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package
  • will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final
