What will you do at Amazon?
The Leo Space Engineering Application (LSEA) team specializes in building and
maintaining secure engineering solutions that optimize satellite product
development processes. The team combines expertise in Siemens NX/Teamcenter with
software engineering capabilities to deliver customized solutions and maintain
the Leo Space platform, ensuring seamless integration and efficient workflow
management for satellite development.
This role is inherently cross-functional; this leader will work closely with
engineering, product/program management, design, operations, finance, legal,
business development, customer service, and executive teams to develop new
capabilities in Leo Space Platform and enhance the existing ones based on data.
A successful candidate will be highly analytical, resourceful, customer-focused,
and team-oriented, with the ability to work independently under time constraints
to meet deadlines. The leader must have a proven track record of taking on
end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and
dynamic business environment.
Export Control Requirement:

Key job responsibilities
- Lead the definition, design, development, and launch of products that delight
customers.
- Lead the development of product strategy and vision supported by internal and
external analysis.
- Align features and requests with the core engineering architecture, including
engineering and operational excellence pillars.
- Create buy-in for the product vision internally and with key partners.
- Define creative, high-quality, simple product and program roadmaps based on
product strategy and vision.
- Develop detailed, crisp business requirements and user stories usable to
create product specifications and architecture for each product and application.
- Manage backlog prioritization and trade-offs among customer feedback,
performance, and operational support load.
- Work closely with hardware and software engineering teams to deliver features.
- Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the team’s
ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals. Basic
Qualifications
- - Bachelor's degree
- - Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- - Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- - Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions
- and strategy related to a product
- - Experience managing technical products or online services
- - Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers
- and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning Preferred
Qualifications
- - Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
- - 5+ years of Space Vehicle/Satellite Operations, Space Communications or
- related industry experience
- - Knowledge of hardware engineering is plus.

- The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package
- will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final
- compensation will be determined based on factors including experience,
- qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits
