About the role
What will you do at Amazon?
Denied Party Screening (DPS) prevents denied party(s) from transacting with
Amazon businesses. We build highly scalable products to detect and prevent
prohibited transactions using algorithms, machine learning, and
sanctions/compliance domain expertise.
We are seeking a Senior Product Manager - Technical to own product roadmap and
innovation for our DPS products. You bring technical depth, domain fluency in
sanctions screening, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced,
ambiguous environment.
Key job responsibilities
• Own the product roadmap - use Amazon's Working Backwards process to identify
customer pain points, define requirements, and prioritize delivery
• Drive domain innovation - monitor trends in sanctions/AML screening, denied
party list management, fuzzy matching algorithms, and AI/ML-based detection to
inform product strategy
• Partner cross-functionally - work with engineering, legal, compliance, and
operations teams to design and deliver scalable screening products that meet
both technical and regulatory requirements
• Manage execution - track progress, communicate to stakeholders, mitigate
risks, and maintain quality
• Build feedback loops - analyze user data and operational metrics to
continuously improve detection accuracy and user experience

Qualifications
- - Bachelor's degree
- - 5+ years of end to end product delivery experience
- - Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- - Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- - Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions
- and strategy related to a product

- The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package
- will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final
- compensation will be determined based on factors including experience,
- qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits
