About the role

What will you do at Amazon?

Amazon Security Experiences is building the unified security platform for every

builder at Amazon. Our product brings together security reviews, issue

management, and security metrics into a single, AI-powered experience. If you

care deeply about interaction design and the quality of tools that help builders

ship secure software, this team is for you.

You will work alongside exceptional senior engineering talent solving hard

problems across front-end architecture, enterprise security tooling, and applied

AI. You'll learn how to build a product that meets Amazon's high bar for

availability, scalability, and security while shipping features that builders

notice and love.

Key job responsibilities

- Own end-to-end delivery of high-impact, user-facing features, from technical

spec to production

- Drive technical direction for client-side architecture, including

micro-frontend composition, shared component libraries, and cross-product design

patterns

- Work closely with designers and product managers to ensure every feature meets

a high bar for builder UX and interaction quality

- Build and use AI agents to accelerate your own development workflow, and

exercise high judgment about when to trust automation versus when the situation

demands your direct involvement

- Mentor engineers, helping them navigate technical challenges and grow their

careers

- Deeply understand customer workflows, how builders conduct security reviews,

triage issues, and interpret security metrics, and build backward from their

needs

A day in the life

You use AI agents to write code and move fast, and attend design reviews with

your PM and designer to keep the builder experience bar high. You own features

end to end, from spec to production, for a product actively used by builders

across Amazon. You participate in operational reviews, track the metrics that

matter, and continuously measure and improve client-side performance. You help

onboard new engineers, contribute to roadmap planning, and obsess over every

interaction and every millisecond of latency, always choosing the path that

serves users best.

About the team

Amazon Security Experiences is a team of engineers who believe the way builders

interact with security is about to change permanently, and we are the ones

defining that change. We are building a unified, AI-native security platform

that brings together security reviews, issue management, and security metrics

into a single experience for every builder at Amazon. We care about performance,

interaction design, and the small details that make a tool feel fast and

effortless. We prototype constantly, experiment boldly, and ship things that

surprise and delight our customers. We dogfood our own product every day, which

means every improvement we ship makes us more effective too. We have fun doing

it, we reinvent how builders think about security, and we are always looking

ahead to what comes next. If you want to build tools that make security

intuitive, fast, and delightful for every builder at Amazon, this is the team

for you. Basic
