This position requires that the candidate selected must currently possess and

maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph. The position

further requires the candidate to opt into a commensurate clearance for each

government agency for which they perform AWS work.

A day in the life

issue, investigate why a metric is trending the wrong way, consult with the top

engineers at Amazon, or discuss radical new approaches to automate operational

issues.

Qualifications

• - Associate's degree, or Cloud+ or GICSP (Global Industrial
• Cyber Security Professional) or GSEC (GIAC Security Essentials) or SSCP (Systems
• Security Certified Practitioner)
• - 5+ years of Linux systems administration experience
• - 7+ years of scripting language experience
• - Experience in Network protocols like DNS/DHCP/TCP, or experience in Linux and
• Networking protocols
• - 5+ years of systems design, software development, operations, automation, and
• process improvement experience
• - Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph

Preferred Qualifications

• - Experience in one or more scripting languages (e.g.,
• Python, Ruby, Perl)
• - Experience developing distributed service applications & developing user
• experience scenarios
• - Experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS, or experience with
• one or more of the following domains: systems administration (Linux/Window),
• network administration (DNS, IPsec, BGP, VPN, Load Balancing), or programming
• (Node.JS, Java, Ruby, C#, Python, or PHP)
• - Experience maintaining distributed systems and web services
• - 4+ years of test automation frameworks and tools building experience
• - 4+ years of deploying and operating in a Linux/Unix environment experience

• The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package
