This is an excellent opportunity to join Amazon's world class Database and

Analytics focused technical team in Denver, Colorado, working with some of the

best and brightest engineers and technical managers while also developing your

skills and furthering your career within one of the most innovative and

A successful engineer joining the team will do much more than write code and

triage problems. You will work with Amazon's largest and most demanding

customers to address specific needs across a full suite of services. You will

dive deep into technical issues and work diligently to improve the customer

experience. By working together on behalf of our customers, we are building the

future one innovative product, service, and idea at a time.

This position requires that the candidate selected must currently possess and

maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance. The position further requires

that, after start, the selected candidate obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI

security clearance with polygraph or commensurate clearance for each government

agency for which they perform AWS work.

Amazon Dedicated Clouds (ADC).

Qualifications

  • - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science,
  • Engineering or related fields
  • - 1+ years of systems administration (Linux/Windows) experience
  • - Experience working with scripting languages like Python, Java, Perl, PHP,
  • Ruby, Bash, Shell, or equivalent
  • - Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret with SCI
  • eligibility or above

Preferred Qualifications

  • - 1+ years of cloud computing
  • technologies experience
  • - 1+ years of networking and troubleshooting experience
  • - 1+ years of support procedures and methodologies for production computing
  • environments experience
  • - Experience automating routine tasks

  • The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package
  • will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final
  • compensation will be determined based on factors including experience,
  • qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits
