abra professional services is seeking a Test Environment Support Engineer.

We are looking for a skilled Test Environment Support Engineer to ensure the availability, stability, and proper operation of test environments, focusing on infrastructure and core system components.

This role requires experience in monitoring, troubleshooting, infrastructure integrations, DevOps processes, databases, cloud environments, and collaboration with infrastructure, communication, DevOps, and development teams.

A full-time hybrid position based in Central Israel, with 1 day a week remote.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor the availability and stability of test environments on an ongoing basis.
  • Identify, investigate, escalate, and support the resolution of infrastructure issues affecting environment availability.
  • Coordinate with infrastructure, communication, DevOps, and development teams to resolve issues.
  • Track system events and their impact on testing activities.
  • Support version deployments and maintenance activities that impact the environment.
  • Document issues, exceptional events, and maintenance activities.
  • Monitor availability metrics and ensure compliance with SLA targets.

Requirements

  • MUST HAVE requirements:
  • • At least 2 years of experience working with internal and external organizational customers.
  • • At least 2 years of experience leading infrastructure integrations in a large organization, including writing, managing, and tracking work plans.
  • • At least 1 year of experience working with application and infrastructure architects – mandatory.
  • • At least 2 years of experience working in Agile methodology.
  • • Experience and familiarity with various databases at development and administration levels.
  • • High-level English skills: writing, speaking, and reading – mandatory.
  • • Willingness to work flexible and intensive hours.
  • Technical skills:
  • • Familiarity with cloud environments in general, and AWS in particular, including architecture and implementation.
  • • Familiarity with CI/CD processes.
  • • Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, Nexus, and Artifactory.
  • • At least 2 years of in-depth experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Linux Server infrastructures.
  • • At least 2 years of in-depth experience with HTTPS servers such as IIS, Tomcat, Apache, and WebSphere.
  • • Strong scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, and Python.
  • • Experience with middleware infrastructures such as Apigee and DataPower.
  • • Experience in troubleshooting and familiarity with troubleshooting tools.
  • • In-depth experience analyzing logs using Elastic and Kibana.
  • • Familiarity with networking and information security domains.
  • • Experience with databases and queries, including MSSQL and MongoDB.
  • • Experience with monitoring implementation and monitoring tools.
