Currently, YouTube Music boasts a fairly strong user base, but there is significant potential to boost its monthly user count. To start, I will identify potential users who may not be currently engaged with our platform. This group might include individuals using other music streaming services such as Spotify, Apple Music, or regional alternatives. My goal will be to gain a deeper understanding of their preferences and determine what features or incentives might encourage them to switch to our service. By integrating user feedback, market research, and competitive analysis, I can create a list of possible improvements or new features. For example, utilizing YouTube's extensive library could set us apart by providing exclusive content like live performances, DJ sets, and unreleased tracks. Additionally, YouTube Music could consider forming partnerships with hardware manufacturers, such as those producing headphones and smart speakers, to integrate the YouTube Music service into their products. Ultimately, our main metric for success would be the growth in monthly active users, while we would also monitor in-app time and premium subscriptions as supplementary indicators of success.
