Waymo, as a frontrunner in autonomous driving technology, has the capacity to revolutionize multiple industries. I envision a five-year implementation plan for Waymo that consists of three main phases. In the first phase, I would prioritize forming partnerships with businesses where autonomous vehicles can improve efficiency, such as long-haul trucking firms or large delivery service companies. Collaborating with these types of operations would not only create an immediate customer base but also showcase the value of our technology on a larger scale. For the second phase, forming alliances with ride-hailing or ride-sharing services would allow Waymo to reach a wider consumer audience. At this stage, it will be crucial to balance customer experience with technological advancements. Lastly, a wider commercial launch aimed at everyday consumers for personal use would follow, featuring targeted marketing campaigns that highlight the advantages of autonomous vehicles, including safety, convenience, and environmental friendliness. Throughout this process, success will be gauged not just by revenue but also by the feedback and acceptance from our users and partners across various use cases.
