We will name this application "ParkPal." Once registered, users can create profiles and save their preferences, such as favorite rides or food options. The main feature will be an interactive map of the amusement park to aid navigation, with icons representing various attractions and services, such as rides, restrooms, and food stalls. By clicking on a ride icon, users can access detailed information, including the thrill level of the ride, height restrictions, and current wait times. Wait times could be reported by users of ParkPal, allowing for crowdsourced updates on different rides. Users can purchase tickets directly through the app, which will also store a digital version of the ticket for use within the park. Food and beverage stands will showcase their menus, and ParkPal users will have the option to place orders in advance for pickup. Additionally, information on daily events and shows, along with the capability to set reminders, would be valuable features for users. To accommodate offline use, essential features like the map and basic information should be accessible. Utilizing IoT devices, we could collect data on ride wait times, park capacity, and more to deliver real-time information within the app.
