In a recent team project, I assumed the leadership role. Although we achieved our objectives upon completion, my manager pointed out that I had made too many decisions on my own without consulting the team. I hadn’t realized this was an issue, as I aimed to streamline the process and avoid overwhelming my colleagues. However, I now understand that it may have compromised our collaborative spirit. I took this feedback seriously and acknowledged the need to find a balance between efficiency and inclusiveness. Since then, I have adjusted my approach by consistently seeking input and feedback from my team before making significant decisions, which has enhanced our team dynamics and overall outcomes.
