Wikipedia has the potential to enhance information accessibility for individuals with vision impairments or those unable to read. To achieve this, we could implement an audio description feature that transforms text into high-quality synthesized speech. To carry this out, we will need the guidance of accessibility experts to create a user-friendly and inclusive product. It would be best to begin testing the feature in one language and, depending on the feedback received, gradually expand it to additional languages. This initiative would make Wikipedia a more inclusive platform, able to serve a wider audience. It aligns with Wikipedia's mission of providing accessible education to all, regardless of their circumstances. Furthermore, from a business standpoint, it would broaden Wikipedia’s outreach to an underserved demographic.
