As a product manager, the key performance indicators (KPIs) that are most important to me are those that give a comprehensive understanding of the product's success and its impact. These can be grouped into four main categories: business metrics, user engagement metrics, product development metrics, and customer satisfaction metrics. For business metrics, I view revenue growth rate and market share as essential indicators that demonstrate the product's profitability and competitive edge. User engagement metrics, including Monthly Active Users (MAU), Session Length, and Frequency of Use, provide valuable insights into user activity and engagement levels. Product development metrics, such as sprint velocity and feature adoption rate, allow me to gauge the efficiency of our development process and the relevance of newly introduced features. Lastly, measuring customer satisfaction is vital, and I prefer utilizing the Net Promoter Score (NPS) and customer satisfaction (CSAT) to assess customer happiness and loyalty. However, the emphasis on these KPIs may shift according to the current goals and strategies of the business.
