We would implement a drift detection system aimed at identifying concept drift. Just as tactics and strategies in sports can evolve throughout a season, our model must be able to adjust accordingly. This requires us to continuously track prediction errors and initiate re-training whenever these errors surpass a set threshold. For performance monitoring, we will utilize a dashboard that showcases metrics reflecting the effectiveness of our Machine Learning model in forecasting future outcomes. We will consider both business-oriented metrics (such as conversion rates) and ML-specific metrics (including AUC-ROC, log-loss, and RMSE), depending on the objectives of our model. Outliers in sports can significantly influence our models, such as when an underdog team defeats a highly-rated team. It is essential to employ robust outlier detection techniques to promptly recognize these anomalies, assess their implications, and determine whether to regard them as new trends or to treat them as exceptions. We will ensure quality by verifying that the app's content and recommendations remain valuable and engaging for users. By tracking user-centric metrics like daily active users, churn rate, average session duration, and action completion rates, we can continually assess whether our model is delivering consistent quality predictions and insights.
