A significant drawback of a conventional whiteboard is that once a meeting concludes, the important insights and information recorded on it may be lost permanently. To address this issue, a smart whiteboard should include the capability to automatically digitize and save all written content. In addition, this smart whiteboard could offer connectivity features to link with various devices, facilitating remote collaboration. To enhance interactivity, it could incorporate a touch-sensitive function, enabling users to easily move, delete, or rearrange elements on the board with a simple touch or swipe. The smart whiteboard could also be integrated with an AI assistant to enhance office meetings by managing reminders, noting important dates, and displaying pertinent information during discussions. Lastly, the inclusion of a smart recognition feature would be advantageous. This capability could identify words, images, or diagrams and automatically search for relevant information, thus saving users time and effort. Both design concepts aim to foster a more productive and efficient workspace by modernizing the traditional office tool, the whiteboard, while taking into account user needs and technological advancements.
