At times, users may wish to share more personal or sensitive content exclusively with those they trust the most. To address this growing demand and improve privacy, Instagram could introduce a 'Share with Close Friends' option. This feature could be available when users create a new post. At that moment, a checkbox labeled 'Share with Close Friends', conveniently placed next to the standard 'Share' button, could be added. If the user checks this box, their post would only be visible to the specific group of individuals they have designated as 'Close Friends'. To establish a 'Close Friends' list, an option could be integrated into the settings tab, allowing users to manually select their 'Close Friends' from their list of followers. Additionally, an auto-suggest feature could be implemented, proposing users to add individuals they frequently interact with (such as through likes, comments, or direct messages). This feature would fulfill the needs of users who prefer to share certain content with a limited audience, thereby fostering trust and intimacy within the platform.
