I value the insights from my colleague. It's encouraging to see them identifying trends and considering ways to enhance our service for users. However, it’s essential to validate this observation with data to grasp the extent of the issue. I would collaborate with the data analytics team to analyze our current checkout process. We need to determine how many users are attempting to make large purchases, which products they are most interested in, and if there are any common traits among these users. If the data indicates that a notable number of users are indeed trying to purchase in bulk, the next step would be to investigate the reasons behind this behavior. We need to comprehend their motivations and challenges—whether it’s due to a system bug or issues related to user experience. Are they content with or dissatisfied by the current processes? This might involve conducting user surveys or interviews. Based on our findings, if implementing a checkout funnel with invoicing seems advantageous, we would need to outline the project, specifying what changes are required, the timeline, estimated costs, and anticipated outcomes. I would create a project plan and then share it with the relevant stakeholders, including the colleague who initially highlighted the issue, for approval and to discuss the next steps.
