While serving as a project coordinator, I encountered a situation where my team was not contributing their fair share of effort, which was adversely affecting our project timeline. I have a strong appreciation for hard work and accountability, and this situation left me feeling quite frustrated. At first, I considered bringing the issue to the attention of upper management, but I wanted to avoid creating unnecessary tension. Instead, I chose to address the matter directly with my team. During the meeting, I shared my observations, expressed my core values, and respectfully requested that everyone increase their effort to help us meet our project deadline. The team responded positively to my concerns, and as a result, we completed the project on time, with a significant improvement in teamwork thereafter.
