In this type of situation, having Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) or specific metrics is essential for assessing success. In managing the feature I oversee, we would ideally have defined KPIs from the beginning that align with the feature's goals. These could include distinct user engagement metrics, specific functionality indicators, usage duration, or others based on the feature's characteristics. Once the features are launched, I would engage in data analysis, concentrating on monitoring and assessing these established KPIs. For example, if the feature I was in charge of aimed to increase the average time users spend on our platform, I would check for a significant rise in this metric following the launch.
