Apple's design philosophy aims to merge aesthetics with functionality, resulting in sleek, user-focused designs. They place a strong emphasis on simplicity, believing that products should be intuitive and user-friendly. On the other hand, Google's Material Design introduces principles inspired by real-world materials, textures, and lighting, with the goal of producing realistic, layered designs. Their approach focuses on addressing user needs through usability, accessibility, and inclusivity in design. While I hold both philosophies in high regard, I find myself more aligned with Google's approach. It provides a significant level of flexibility and customization while emphasizing accessibility. Additionally, incorporating real-world elements into digital experiences enhances engagement and comfort for users.
