Consider a very large n-ary tree, where the root node possesses information that it needs to share with all its children down to the leaves. The constraint is that the root can only communicate this information to one child at a time, which we will refer to as one iteration. In the subsequent iteration, the child node that received the information can then pass it on to just one of its own children. Simultaneously, the root can share the information with one of its other children. This process continues in the same manner. Our goal is to determine the minimum number of iterations required to disseminate the information to all nodes within the tree.
